Having the right Realtor, can make your home buying experience that much better.

This has been my second time house hunting. My first time was a year ago, with a Realtor other than Jeff and the Harmes Team. She was nice and worked hard for us, but didn’t have the experience that Jeff and the rest of the Harmes Team has.
This years’ experience working with Jeff, has been so much better. Because we have a Realtor who not only knows the market, but knows how to get things done in this market. Right now Colorado is one of the top ten places to live in the United States. So that makes it a very hot market for anyone buying or selling.
A year ago we had put in 10 different offers in with our other Realtor, and not gotten anything. We resorted to putting in offers on at houses we knew we didn’t like. Houses we know we would be miserable in today if we were living there.
After our tenth offer was rejected, we were done. For us this was the sign that the timing was not right. So we agreed to try again the next year.
Now fast forward to this year, we started by looking at a few houses, then found one we really loved. A total of 3 offers went in before we went under contract. That’s a new record for us.  We even ended up having 2 houses at one point! Of course we had to pick the one, but at least we had a choice this time.
Even after picking the house we wanted, Jeff has helped us through every step there is. He showed up to the inspection to make sure everything was going smoothly and that they were not major problems. He didn’t have to do that, but I’m really glad he did, in case there was something majorly wrong.
Having a good Realtor on your side not only makes the house buying experience more fun, but a lot less of a headache. Because you know that you’re not just a paycheck to them, you’re a lifelong customer who will come back because of your experience with them.
