The Colorado Railroad Museum offers a theatrical rendition of The Polar Express, along with a train ride and visit with Mr. and Mrs. Claus! How about dinosaurs and Santa? Denver's Holiday light safari starts at the Denver Zoo. More than 150 Holiday animated animal sculptures hide in bushes, jump around and swing through trees on over 38 brilliantly illuminated acres of lights.  Many of these illuminated animal sculptures appear in places you least expect! Black Friday is known as the official kickoff of the Holiday shopping Season. Denver's serious shoppers are up and out the door before dawn. Is this ritual really worth it?  According to an article in Colorado Newsday, Black Friday is not even among the four best days for Holiday shopping and deals. Some experts at Savings.com analyzed deals offered by retailers over the past five years, and found the best discount days vary according to what you're shopping for, and they're not on Black Friday.
