Holiday Events in Denver-Week 2-Is Black Friday really worth it?

Black Friday is known as the official kickoff of the Holiday shopping Season. Denver's serious shoppers are up and out the door before dawn. Is this ritual really worth it?  According to an article in Colorado Newsday, Black Friday is not even among the four best days for Holiday shopping and deals. Some experts at Savings.com analyzed deals offered by retailers over the past five years, and found the best discount days vary according to what you're shopping for, and they're not on Black Friday.
